How to check which version of VSX you have installed

We regularly release software updates for VSX, with each newer version offering software improvements, bug fixes, new features, and more. Thus, it is always important to make sure you have the latest version of VSX installed. 

Users can check which version is installed from within the plug-in window, when viewing the full-size GUI. Simply click the VSX logo in the upper left corner. 

This will bring up a pop-up window which will give the version installed at the top. 

Within the Slate Audio Center app, users can also see which version is installed, and which version is the latest, to see if an update is needed. If so, a red "UPDATE" button will appear under VSX. 

NOTE: Please note that even if you have a version of the VSX software later than V5.0 installed, the speaker version will still say V5.0. This is not an error, as the speaker version and the version of the software itself are two different things. Right now, the only available speaker versions are 2.0, 3.0, 4.0 and 5.0 (users can change the global speaker version in the VSX settings, or changed the individual speaker version by right-clicking on the version number of the currently selected room).
