How to install Steven Slate Audio VSX on macOS

Step 1:
Start an account at https://my.slateaudio.com/ and redeem the VSX passcode and link the iLok ID to receive the iLok License. 

Step 2:
Download and Launch the Slate Audio Center and sign in with your credentials. If you do not have the Slate Audio Center, get it here:

Slate Audio Center (Mac)
Slate Audio Center (Windows)

           NOTE: Upon opening the installer, Mac users will need to drag the Slate Audio Center app to their applications folder.

Once logged in to the Slate Audio Center, click "install" under the "VSX" product in the Slate Audio Center. 

     NOTE: Make sure to click on the product called "VSX" when wanting to install the plug-in version of VSX. The product called "VSX Systemwide" is the standalone version of VSX. 

Step 3:
Make sure the DAW is closed, as it will need to scan in the newly installed plugin after the installation. Once the plugin has finished downloading, locate in your downloads folder and double-click to unzip and run the Slate Audio Center installer. 

Step 4:
Follow prompts in the Steven Slate Audio Center:

   -.Click "Install" in the VSX product tab to get to the installation area. 

   - The second prompt gives you a choice of locations to activate the iLok license for VSX. The license can be deposited via either machine ID or iLok dongle.

       NOTE: The VSX licenses are not iLok Cloud-compatible. 

 

Step 5:
Launch DAW after installation has completed.
